Team PA Falls In Back-And-Forth Affair Against Team NY

Team PA and Team NY played a tight game, but Team NY pulled out the 5-4 victory on Thursday.

The game was tied at four with Team NY batting in the top of the seventh when there was an error, scoring one run.

Team PA lost despite out-hitting Team NY seven to five.

Team NY captured the lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Thomas Velardi drove in two runs when he doubled.

Team NY evened things up at four in the top of the fifth inning. Todd Vieira drove in one when he doubled in the fifth inning.

Drew Barshinger went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Team PA in hits.

Velardi went 1-for-4 at the plate as he led the team with two runs batted in.

The win moves Team NY into the Mid-Atlantic Championship game against New Jersey on Friday evening.
