Strong Offense Not Enough As Team NJ Falls To Team DE

Both teams put up a bunch of runs, but Team NJ fell to Team DE 9-6 on Wednesday.

Team NJ captured the lead in the first inning. Derek Escobar grounded out, scoring one run.

Team DE took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Nick DiTomasso singled off of Jayden Capindica, driving in one run, there was an error, scoring two runs, and there was an error, scoring one run.

Team NJ scored three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Capindica.

Bradley Marks earned the win for Team DE. He tossed four and a third innings, surrendering three runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Charlie Porter threw one inning, as two relievers helped Team DE finish off the victory.

Team NJ collected seven hits. Capindica and Jayden Rosado each collected multiple hits for Team NJ. Capindica and Escobar each drove in two runs to lead Team NJ.

Team DE had 12 hits in the game. Marks and Hassan Turner each collected multiple hits for Team DE.
